The next General Municipal Election will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
This page outlines voter eligibility, registration details, and the different ways you can cast your vote.
Voter Eligibility
You are eligible to vote in the RM of St. Andrews if you:
- Are a Canadian citizen
- Are 18 years of age or older on election day
- Have lived in, or owned property within the RM of St. Andrews for at least six months
Non-Resident Voters
If you own property in the RM but do not live here, you must complete Form 3: Non-Resident Voter Consent Form to be eligible to vote.
The Voters List
The voters list identifies all eligible voters in the municipality.

Personal Security Protection
If you have safety concerns, you can request that your information be protected. Submit Form 8A: Personal Security Protection to have your name and address removed from the public voters list.
Ways to Vote
1. In-Person
Visit your designated polling station on election day. Please refer to Form 22: Directions for Voting for instructions on how to properly mark your ballot.
2. Sealed Envelope Ballot
If you are unable to attend in person, you may apply to vote by mail:

- You may bring someone to assist you. They must complete Form 24: Oath of a Person Assisting a Voter
