St. Andrews Airport

Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the St. Andrews Airport on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Airport (located at 705 South Gate Road). There will be plenty of activities for people of all ages to enjoy.

It will be a historic celebration and a day to reflect on the airport's's challenges, it's changes, it's growth, and a look forward at a very promising future.

  • 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - WWII Airplane Flights(*must book in advance - details can be accessed here)
  • 2:00 p.m. - Young Eagles Flights (Ages 8 - 17)
  • 3:30 p.m. - Doors Open
  • 4:00 p.m. - Hot Dog BBQ
  • 4:45 p.m. - Speeches
  • 7:00 p.m. - Doors Close
  • Live Music
  • Aviation Displays

Come learn about the aviation industry as well as the airport's operations and meet some of the personnel and members that have contributed to it's success.

The St. Andrews Airport is a fully controlled airport in the heart of St. Andrews, Manitoba just five minutes north of the City of Winnipeg and offers an excellent opportunity for locating a new or existing business. St. Andrews Airport is owned by the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews and operated as a separate, independent corporation known at St. Andrews Airport Inc.
The St. Andrews Airport is a not-for-profit, community owned facility.
St. Andrews Airport opened in 1962 to relieve the Winnipeg International Airport of increased flight training and air traffic. A general aviation airport, it covers approximately 473 hectares of land and is surrounded by flat farmland and rural housing.
