Posted: 2017-05-17

GAYNOR FAMILY REGIONAL LIBRARY
[806 Manitoba Avenue - Selkirk, Manitoba]

Summer Reading Program at the Library!
TD Summer Reading Club is Canada's biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests and all abilities.  Kids (and their caregivers) can participate anytime, anywhere at local public libraries across Canada as well as at home, online, on the road or wherever their summer takes them.  This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada.  This year's theme celebrates Canada's 150th Birthday with Canadian authors, illustrators and stories.

Every option has been designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way - the key to building a lifelong love of reading.  There are great resources for kids with print disabilities as well as for pre-readers and their families.  Join us and others across Canada this summer!

Participants explore the following:
  • recommended reads
  • track their own reading
  • connect and share with others across the country
  • read books online
  • join in activities
  • collect reading incentives and chance to win an end of summer prize
  • write jokes, stories and book reviews and more
FREE registration will begin in person at the Library on June 1, 2017.
